Foster The People will be performing at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus on Friday September 12th. Tickets are currently available at ticketmaster.com

The band is currently on tour promoting their second full-length album titled "Supermodel". They are returning to North America after a tour through Asia and Europe. Since the release of the album FTP as been touring nonstop with many festival dates including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governors Ball.

"Supermodel" is a follow-up to the platinum album "Torches". "Pumped Up Kicks" was the most popular track off that album. "Torches" received two Grammy nominations. The entire album was spectacular and one of my favorites.

Mark Foster grew up outside of Cleveland and graduated from Nordonia high school. Shortly after high school graduation Mark moved to Los Angelos and struggled at a successful career. He wrote commercial jingles for a period of time and eventually found success with Mark Pontius when they formed FTP.

Even though FTP won't be performing in Mark's hometown any time soon it is just a short drive from Cleveland to Columbus. If you've never seen FTP live it's definitely worth the trip. And if you have seen them live before then you already know what a great show this will be.
